On November 16, a delegation of seven academicians, including Tupolev Valerii Stanislavich from the Russian Academy of Engineering （RAE）， led by academician Oleg Ivanovich Skripochka （Decorated Russian cosmonaut and commander of the International Space Station -62）， together with Bai Wenlong （Vice President of the Beijing Zhichan Heli Research Institute of Science and Technology）， visited Huzhou University for cooperation. Attending the meeting are: Jin Peihua （Secretary of the Party Committee of the University）， Li Qingfeng （Vice President）， HR Department, Department of Science and Technology, Foreign Affairs Office, School of Life Sciences, School of Engineering and other relevant departments. The meeting was chaired by Li Qingfeng.

　　Jin Peihua extended a warm welcome to the delegation, and introduced the University’s history and development, as well as the recently established “3+1” High-level Platform. He pointed out that in recent years, Huzhou University has continued to expand foreign cooperation and exchanges, and has established partnership with more than 60 universities in over 20 countries on four continents. The University attaches particular importance to the building of international platforms, talent cultivation and project cooperation with Russia. He also hoped to strengthen close ties and cooperation with RAE, jointly promote the innovation and application of scientific and technological achievements between China and Russia, especially to provide support for Pro. Wu Choufei （newly elected foreign academician of RAE） and his team, and advance cooperation and innovative development in related scientific research fields.

　　Skripochka expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome, introduced the development of RAE, and hoped to achieve close cooperation with Huzhou University in terms of academic exchange, scientific research, project declaration, talent introduction and cultivation. Bai Wenlong suggested that both sides should strengthen cooperation in the four aspects in the future including postgraduate joint training, joint building of scientific research platform, flexible introduction of high-level talents, and project joint declaration. In addition, Academician Tupolev, Academician Skripochka and Prof. Wu Choufei made exchange speeches.

　　At the meeting, the Russian State Agrarian University and Huzhou University exchanged the signed strategic cooperation agreement.

　　After the meeting, the delegation visited the School of Life Sciences and inspected the scientific research platforms such as the Key Laboratory of Vector Biology and Pathogen Control of Zhejiang Province.
