From September 28 to 30, World Trade Expo Azerbaijan 2023 China Created Fair was held in Baku Expo Center. At the Expo, over 100 Chinese enterprises in various industries brought various quality Chinese products to Baku for exchange and exhibition. On September 29, a delegation of twelve people, including Chinese and foreign directors and teachers, from the Confucius Institute at Azerbaijan University of Languages, participated in the Expo and provided cultural shows.

　　During the Expo, teachers of the Confucius Institute provided performance such as Hulusi solo of “Blue and White Porcelain”， Chinese dance “Tao Hua Nuo” and Chinese song “For Whom”， aiming to increase cultural exchanges and economic and trade exchanges along the Silk Road. The wonderful performances not only demonstrated a strong Chinese style, but also added unique charm to the Expo.

　　In addition, these teachers also actively engaged in the exchanges with the participating Chinese enterprises, providing support to them in terms of translation and culture information about the local life. Rafik Abbasov, Foreign Director of the Confucius Institute, also displayed books translated by him, including Heydar Aliyev and China, and Ilham Aliyev - The Modern Heir of the Friendship between Two ancient Nations.

　　As an important trade and exchange platform between China and Azerbaijan, the Expo is conducive to promoting economic and trade cooperation and cultural exchanges. During the exhibition, innovative products and technologies from the participating Chinese companies offer more choices and opportunities to the Azerbaijani market. Meanwhile, the Confucius Institute also demonstrates the charm and diversity of Chinese culture, and contributes to the friendship and interaction between the Chinese and Azerbaijani peoples.
