On the afternoon of March 29, the Foreign Affairs Office and International School invited officers from the Wuxing District Drug Control Brigade and Drug Rehabilitation Center to give a lecture on the theme of “drug-free youth and Healthy Life”. Foreign teachers and students from the United States, Romania, Mexico, Ghana, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Zambia and other countries participated in the event.

Officer Huang Ying from the Wuxing District Anti-Drug Brigade started the topic from aspects of drug crime, drug harm and drug prevention. Huang showed traditional drugs such as cannabis and heroin and new drugs such as methamphetamine and ecstasy through graphic narration and model display, which helped foreign teachers and students identify various drugs more clearly. At the same time, she combined various cases to vividly explain the harm of drugs to individuals, families and society, and warned the audience to cherish their lives and stay away from drugs.

After the meeting, the police officers of the Anti-Drug Brigade and the Drug Rehabilitation Center interacted with the foreign teachers and students present, and interpreted the relevant laws and regulations through discussions and question-and-answer, which played a good preventive and warning effect.

All along, the Foreign Affairs Office and International School have incorporated the anti-drug work into the daily management of foreign teachers and international students, continuously strengthened warning education, and advocated that all foreign teachers and students stay away from drugs and cherish their lives.
