[作者]: [来源]:School of Science [时间]:2025-11-18 8:30:51 [阅读次数]:10From November 13 to 16, the Symposium on Exotic Phenomena in the Microscopic Physical World was held at Huzhou University. The event was organized by the School of Science. Vice President Li Qingfeng attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. More than 50 experts and scholars from over 20 universities and research institutes participated in the symposium, including Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Fudan University, Nanjing University, Jilin University, Beijing Normal University, East China Normal University, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, the Institute of Theoretical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Institute of Modern Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

At the opening ceremony, Li Qingfeng extended a warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to all the experts and scholars, and presented an overview of the development of Huzhou University as well as the progress of its physics discipline. Reviewing one hundred years of the development of quantum mechanics, he pointed out that the microscopic physical world remains a “blue ocean” and “deep space” full of unknowns. He emphasized that this symposium is dedicated to promoting in-depth integration between teaching and research, between atomic and nuclear scales, and between nuclear structure and nuclear reactions. The goal, he noted, is to break down barriers and achieve a “squared leap” in scientific understanding. Zhou Shangu i, Director and Research Fellow of the Institute of Theoretical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Zhou Xiaohong, Research Fellow of the Institute of Modern Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, also delivered remarks at the opening ceremony.
The symposium featured plenary talks, thematic sessions, and round-table forums. Participants engaged in extensive and in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics in microscopic physics, recent research progress, the latest scientific achievements, and approaches to interdisciplinary collaboration. Faculty members from Huzhou University, including Professor Liu Yanxin, Research Fellow Xu Haojie, and Associate Research Fellow Li Ke, shared their latest research advances in areas such as the projected shell model, constraints on nuclear symmetry energy, and cross-disciplinary studies at the interface between cold-atom physics and nuclear physics.
Professor Zhang Fengshou from Beijing Normal University delivered the closing remarks. He noted that the symposium was characterized by in-depth academic exchanges, broad interdisciplinary integration, and strong momentum for cooperation. He emphasized that the discussions have played an important role in advancing research on microscopic physics, and expressed the hope that significant progress and major breakthroughs will be achieved in the future, especially in cross-disciplinary studies related to the microscopic physical world.
