On April 10, a delegation from the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, led by Professor Istvan Szabo—Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Technology—visited our university for academic exchange. Vice President Li Qingfeng attended the meeting and held discussions with the guests. Representatives from the Office of Science and Technology, the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, the School of Life Sciences, the School of Information Engineering, and the Huzhou Science and Technology Innovation Service Center (Huzhou Academician and Expert Service Center) also participated in the reception.

　　Vice President Li Qingfeng extended a warm welcome to Professor Istvan Szabo and his delegation. He provided an overview of Huzhou University’s development, faculty strength, discipline construction, talent cultivation, and international exchange and cooperation. He particularly highlighted the university’s progress and achievements in disciplines related to smart agriculture. He expressed the hope that Huzhou University and the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences could establish a friendly partnership, conduct in-depth cooperation in areas such as sustainable agricultural development, ecological technology, and smart agriculture, and create opportunities for academic collaboration, faculty and student exchange, and joint research and innovation.

　　Professor Istvan Szabo expressed his sincere gratitude for the warm reception and introduced the basic profile of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences. He noted many commonalities between Huzhou University and his institution, and expressed his hope to carry out in-depth research cooperation in the field of smart agriculture. He also looked forward to strengthening collaboration in more areas in the future, contributing to the high-quality development of both universities.

　　At the meeting, Professor Istvan Szabo and Vice President Li Qingfeng signed a strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences and Huzhou University, respectively.
