This conference was hosted by the Overseas Chinese Science and Technology Innovation Alliance and the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, and jointly organized by the China-Europe Scientists Forum, Huzhou University, the Sino-French Health Medicine Society. and others. It brought together over 200 scientists and academic talents from diverse fields, including artificial intelligence, Sino-German robotics, biomedicine, architectural design, and low-carbon new energy. Additionally, the conference’s online live stream attracted more than 50,000 viewers. The conference was jointly chaired by Professor Wang Zefeng from Huzhou University and Dr. Li Changting, President of the Sino-French Health Medicine Society.
The conference conducted in-depth discussions on innovations in clinical diagnosis and treatment, translational medicine, and personalized medicine. Leading experts and academic figures from around the globe showcased recent breakthroughs in the interdisciplinary applications of medical science and technology. Over ten inspiring keynote speeches were delivered during the event. Among the highlights, Professor Ludger Johannes, an academician of the German National Academy of Sciences, presented a keynote titled “The Sugar Pathway in Biomedical Discoveries”. He discussed the potential applications of glycobiology in cancer diagnosis, immunotherapy and other aspects, emphasizing that research on sugar molecules will provide a new direction for clinical diagnosis. Professor Sergey V. Suchkov from the Russian Medical University delivered a speech on personalized precision medicine (PPM), deeply analyzing its role in modern healthcare. He highlighted that advancements in genomics and artificial intelligence are key to driving the development of PPM, which aims to enhance patients’ quality of life through precise diagnostics and targeted therapies. Professor Nandini Vasudevan from the University of Reading, UK, gave a report titled “Neurosteroids and Their Impact on the Brain”. Her research shed light on neuroprotection and neurodegenerative diseases, offering new perspectives on improving human neurological health. Additionally, Peng Yifei, a doctoral student jointly trained by Huzhou university and the University of Lille, presented a report titled “Research on the Prevention and Treatment of Large Intestine Cancer by Integrating Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine”. Through the automatic collection of tongue images in the oral cavity by intelligent camera robots, it processes the tongue image data, uses algorithm models to identify the risk of large intestine cancer, and prevent and treat it combining traditional Chinese medicine
The International Conference on Clinical Medicine and Intelligent Devices will be committed to providing a diversified communication platform for global scientists and industry leaders. The conference will continue to focus on cutting-edge fields including clinical medicine, intelligent devices, and life sciences, promoting in-depth interdisciplinary exchanges and industrial cooperation. Especially with the rapid development of artificial intelligence and biomedical technologies, the future China-Europe Scientists Forum will further facilitate the in-depth integration of China and Europe in scientific research and industry, and promote comprehensive cooperation between the two sides in aspects such as scientific and technological innovation and talent cultivation.
