On the evening of November 18th, the opening ceremony of the 4th Hu Yuan Cultural Festival and the 17th Campus Singing Competition Finals was opened in the east campus auditorium. Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Huang Jianping, Jiang Yunliang, member of the Party Committee and Propaganda Minister Du Ning, and 1500 teachers and students enjoyed the festival feast together.

    With the theme of “Recalling the past hundred years, Forging ahead” , Hu Yuan Cultural Festival was divided into three chapters, namely, cultural heritage, the school motto fulfilling, typical examples leading, and there’re 13 activities in total. These activities included the original drama Miss Most is Hometown created by Qiming Drama Club, “The origin of Silk·The Civilization of Taihu Lake” national academic seminar, Chinese dance drama Wang Xizhi of introducing classic art into the campus, large lecture hall of Hu Yuan, “Carry Forward Craftsman Spirit, Present a Gift to Century-old University” industrial creative works exhibition, “Qunxue” humanistic salon, dance session Her by Art College, and cultural square activity of Normal University students. The cultural festival started in the beginning of November and will end in the middle of December and will last one and a half months.
