On October 22th, the semifinal contest of the Third English Writing Contest for College Students in Zhejiang Province and “FLTPR Cup” English Writing Contest of 2016 was held in Zijinggang Campus of Zhejiang University. Students from our university had made good achievements: Zhu Yelei had won the second prize and Li Siyi had won the third prize, both of them were from the 140512 class of Foreign Languages Department and their advisers were Sun Liang and Yang Xinyu respectively. It’s reported that 253 contestants from various universities of our province had competed in this contest, 81 contestants won the awards.
